Forta

Forta manufactures synthetic fiber reinforcement for concrete, with Forta-Ferro as its best-known macro-synthetic product. Macro-synthetic fiber is dosed by the pound per cubic yard and is used for shrinkage crack control and, in some designs, as a specified alternative to welded wire in a slab on grade. Fiber does not replace structural steel, and substituting it for engineered reinforcement is an engineer's decision, not a contractor's.
