Vulcan Materials

Vulcan Materials is the largest producer of construction aggregates in the United States, which means the crushed stone, sand and gravel that make up most of a concrete mix by volume. It also runs asphalt and ready-mix operations in selected markets. When a mix design calls out a specific coarse aggregate gradation, the quarry behind it is often a Vulcan quarry.
