Silane sealer
A penetrating sealer with very small molecules that drive deep into concrete and chemically bond, providing long-lasting water and chloride repellency.
What does silane sealer mean?
Silanes penetrate deeper than most alternatives, which is why they are specified for bridge decks, parking structures, and other chloride-exposed concrete where protection must survive surface wear. Their small molecular size also makes them more volatile, so application conditions and coverage rates matter. They leave essentially no visible change.
In practice
Departments of transportation seal bridge decks with silanes precisely because the protection lives below the wearing surface.
